Fred Whipple Observatory Tour Group
Participants on the tour of Fred Whipple Observatory (featuring the MMT Observatory) should arrive at the Conference Registration Desk in the Westin La Paloma Lobby Foyer no later than 7:30 to check in. The bus will depart promptly at 8:00. You will be issued a name tag and escorted to the bus prior to departure time.
Kitt Peak Observatories Tour Group
Participants on the tour of Kitt Peak should arrive at the Conference Registration Desk in the Westin La Paloma Lobby Foyer no later than 8:00 to check in. The bus will depart promptly at 8:30. You will be issued a name tag and escorted to the bus prior to departure time.
Attractions
Two tours of local observatories will be offered on Sunday, 15 October. You may sign up for tours through the conference registration form, and guests are welcome. There are limited spaces available for each tour, so it is best to sign up early.

- VLBA radio telescope
Please note that the temperature on the mountains will be relatively cool at that time of year (average High: 67.5 F/20 C and Low: 48.4 F/9 C), so be sure to bring appropriate attire.
