Birds of a Feather (BoF) Solicitation
The ADASS Program Organizing Committee is soliciting proposals for Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions for this conference. BoFs are informal sessions on topics of special interest to conference attendees, and are generally well attended. The POC will base the final selection of BoFs upon the strength of the proposal, the available space, and on the breadth of likely participant interest.
If you wish to organize a BoF at ADASS XVI, please send e-mail to: adass2006@adass.org. Please include:
- Title of the BoF
- Name and e-mail address of each organizer
- A paragraph describing the structure and objectives of the BoF
Please note: There is limited time and physical space available for BoF sessions, and it may not be possible to accommodate all proposals. You should clearly describe the purpose of the BoF, the relevance to ADASS, and how you plan to organize the BoF session. If your BoF is approved, your description will be published on the conference web site and in the final conference program.
Deadline: The deadline for submission of this information is 1 September. Proposers will be notified of the result of the proposal selection within two weeks of the proposal deadline.
