Astronomical Data Analysis Software & Systems XV

As announced in the conference, in addition to the manuscript, you can submit the oral presentation, the poster and... pictures of the conference and eclipse. Please, submit your material before the 31 October 2005.

Submission of posters and oral presentations

Oral presentations and posters should be submitted in PDF format, using the following procedure:

Connect to the xmm.vilspa.esa.es server via ftp, using the anonymous account

     ftp xmm.vilspa.esa.es
     Name (xmm.vilspa.esa.es:xxx): anonymous
     Password: [your e-mail]

Change into the pub/adassxv_presentations directory:
cd pub/adassxv_presentations
Upload your file in binary (bin) form, using the put command. Identify the PDF file giving it a name using the identification code of the presentation or poster (e.g., ''O4.1.pdf''). Note that you will be able to see a listing of the files uploaded using ls; however, you will not be able to download, delete or overwrite them after the upload.
Disconnect by typing bye.

Here is how a sample session might look:

        % ftp xmm.vilspa.esa.es
        Name (xmm.vilspa.esa.es:xxx): anonymous
        Password: [your e-mail]

        ftp> cd pub/adassxv_presentations 
        ftp> bin
        ftp> put O4.1.pdf
        ftp> bye

Submission of pictures

In addition to oral presentations and posters, we appreciate your contribution with pictures of the conference and especially of the eclipse. Images should be submitted using the following procedure:

Connect to the xmm.vilspa.esa.es server via ftp, using the anonymous account

     ftp xmm.vilspa.esa.es
     Name (xmm.vilspa.esa.es:xxx): anonymous
     Password: [your e-mail]

Change into the pub/adassxv_images directory:
cd pub/adassxv_images
Upload your file in binary (bin) form, using the put command. Identify the picture giving it a name using your name or a letter code, and a sequence number in case you have several (e.g., ''fred0001.jpg''). As indicated above, you will be able to see a listing of the files uploaded using ls; however, you will not be able to download, delete or overwrite them after the upload.
Disconnect by typing bye.

        % ftp xmm.vilspa.esa.es
