Financial Aid

A limited amount of financial aid is available to help pay for attendance to the ADASS XV conference. Financial aid is provided to participants based primarily on the merit of their presentation (oral, poster, or demonstration). Financial aid may be provided for any, or all, of the following: hotel accommodations, registration and/or demonstration fees. At present we do not expect to be able to provide financial support for air fare except in exceptional circumstances. In order to apply for financial aid, the following must be received by July 8, 2005:

• Citizenship
• Academic Level (if applicant is a student): Undergraduate, Graduate
• Vita and Bibliography (maximum of 2 printed pages)


• Presentation Information
• Requested Presentation Type: Oral, Poster, Demo
• Presentation Title
• Presentation Abstract
• Requested Financial Aid
• Hotel (up to 4 nights)
• Registration Fee
• Demo Fee
• Letter of recommendation (if applicant is a student): Please include the name and email address of your reference in your application and arrange for the letter of recommendation to be sent by your reference.

If you are requesting financial aid, do not fill out a registration form at this time. Those requesting financial aid will be notified soon after the abstract submission deadline (August 1st) as to whether they will be granted any aid. If the financial aid is granted, instructions will be provided on how to register. If aid is not granted, applicants will be given an opportunity to register at the early discounted rate.
